OK i just got rid of total PC protector 2010. it took a while but i stayed with it and its gone. First you have to be quick when your desktop comes up. I clicked on my Norton 360 and it opened before the T PC 2010 pop up took over.Keep trying if your not quick enough. Run a full virus scan several times. 360 cleaned up about 8 items. I repeated this until nothing else was detected,Next i right clicked on the T PC 2010 icon and ran 360 scan on it. last this is the trickiest part. you have to be fast. i have windows- hit start then control panel then add or remove programs. i had to try about 4 times to get ahead of T PC 2010. you have to click and open add/delete before T PC 2010 takes over just like the previous. I would say you have about 5 or so seconds. once opened Find T PC 2010 and hit uninstall then uninstall it. Here’s a tip if your having trouble being quick enough. Make note of the locations you have to click, have your mouse pointer close to the area and in turn make note of the next location this will help. Last i ran a full scan.All cleaned up. Also the pop up will be in the background until you do the last step. don’t pay any attention and don’t touch it.
I’m not a wiz if i was able to fix this you should have a good shot before having to pay someone good luck

I’m having the same issue as Mr. T : The virus protector popup will not allow me to access my desktop, task manager, and still comes up in safe mode. What do i do. this thing pops up during start up and I can not do anything.
Any IDEAS ??? MANY THANKS in advance for any help.
