http://my-security-central.com may look like a legitimate site of a computer security company called Privacy Software, Inc but My security central – Powerfull PC Protection site is actually a fake security website. The http://my-security-central.com/ domain is used to promote the security central program, a fake antivirus protection software.
The security central antivirus, like most other fake antivirus protection softwares, causes infected computers to show fake system scans and annoying security central alert that may entice you to purchase a security central registration key. Security central software is also characterized by browser hijacking which might explain why infected PCs are kept redirected to sites such as My-security-central.com that promote a rogue virus and spyware protection software.
