Antivirus Soft has pretty much killed my hard drive. I get a blue screen. I've had to purchase a new hard drive and I'll have to pay someone to recover what they can from the one that's been rendered useless. And yes, I do run anti-virus. I run Avast, Ad Aware, Spy Bot and Zone Alarm as well as the Microsoft stuff that comes with Windows and it got through ALL of it. I see post after post regarding these rogue programs and the question regarding legal recourse remains unanswered. How is it they're allowed to do this?

Thanks very much for this. I got nailed with a brand-new computer before I could even install anything.

My remaining issue now is that I cannot get out on the Internet. IE is rendering unusable.
