The one I have was very advanced compared to what was in this post. I actually used Falcon Four’s Ultimate Boot Disc to boot. From there I used remote registry to edit the registry entries listed above. One note, instead of finding agent.exe, my registry value in run was ccagent.exe which in Drive:\Users\thisuser\AppData…

    This “…\CC\cc.exe’” was renamed “…\AppData\Roaming\CCenter\ccmain.exe”

I tried to delete the files mentioned, however they were in AppData not Application Data for me. Some folders said access denied. So i went into the folder properties, security tab. From here special permissions button, and changed the permission from deny to approved. I then okayed, and tried to enter, and was granted entry.

I rebooted from the main C drive, logged in, no more hijac. However, I still got an error message claiming a virus, and a fake scan, so it is not fully removed. But I now I can get to my desktop etc and get it fully removed.
I believe the differences are due to a new version, plus being on windows vista.
