This day alone, there are hundreds of searches on “remove dogpile from my computer” and “how to get dogpile off my computer”. This is an indication that a number of people are desperate for information on how to get rid of dogpile toolbar from their PC.

Curious as to why so many people need help on how to uninstall dogpile, many of whom can’t delete dogpile toolbar, and why several people have already branded it as the dogpile virus, I decided to download the dogpile toolbar myself.

Do note that the toolbar may not necessarily be a virus but a nuisance program that several people find difficult to get rid of.

Here are some of the things I learned after I have installed dogpile:

1. The dogpile site and help page do not provide information on how to delete dogpile toolbar. This is the reason why so many people look for help from other sites on how to uninstall dogpile toolbar from their computers. I tried to look for information from the official toolbar site help page on how to get rid of dogpile on my computer but I found none.

2. Some sites provide non working instructions on how to remove dogpile toolbar. There were even sites that offer “security softwares” to remove the toolbar. Oftentimes, these softwares are for sale and since I do not want to spend money just to find the answer on how to delete dogpile from my computer, I tried to look for other sites and followed their manual procedures on how to cancel out dogpile. Unfortunately, many of them did not work.

How do I uninstall dogpile?

Fortunately, I found the answer on how to remove dogpile from my computer by reading yahoo answers. I followed one of the users’ answers on dogpile toolbar virus removal manual and it actually worked in my PC.

How do I delete dogpile? This is what I did to remove dogpile toolbar from my PC:

• Go To Tools In Your FireFox Window

• Go to Add-Ons > Extensions Tab and then

• Click on Dogpile toolbar

• Choose Uninstall

• Restart firefox
