I blame Norton360 for this. If the $70 I spent on the program was ALL I had to pay to own the program ad perpetuum and I did NOT have to renew each & every year, then I’d still be sitting pretty. All I know is, during a short unprotected time (Norton360 began acting like a virus because I didn’t renew it and I had to get it removed), I was offered WinBlueSoft. Installed it. Annoyed at the nag screens, sirens, and suspicious virus alerts. Uninstalling it did NOTHING to stop the nuisance. If I clickede “yes” to remove any fake virus, I was asked to pay $50 to do so.
An antivirus forum gave precise instructions to use “MalwareBytes” and “Stimfixfraud”. I had the former, the latter downloaded right away. Ran the latter. A few seconds later -system OK ! No more phony crap ! Now I am just watching & waiting as I surf. I DON’T miss the noisy rubbish !

WinBlue’s become too damn sophisticated. I can’t do ANYTHING AT ALL.
It won’t let me download anything, or open anything.
Please, I need help. I have limited knowledge on how to fix computer related problems, and I don’t have the money to bring it in to a professional.

alright i figured out how to stop it from coming on. this is not a removal, just how i got this thing to stop bugging me and to stop loading into my start menu and all seems fine.
go to the start button and the the run option. type msconfig in the line and hit enter. goto the startup tab and make sure to uncheck the entry called setup2. then click apply. exit without restart cause your not done yet.
go to windows explorer (the file tree view)
this is the folder that the damn file is in.
C:\Documents and Settings\(your name)\Local Settings\Temp – the (your name) is whatever your windows login is
it is called setup2.exe and has the windows security shield icon. simply move it to another folder, NOT recycle cause it won’t let you, yet (ha-ha) after you move it, rename the damn file to deleteme.exe then restart your comp. the msconfig window will show up so just check the box and say ok. then go to the folder you moved the bloody bastard file to and delete the damn thing
hopefully this can help until some official program can get it out of our damn registrys.

none of these tips worked for me. I did not buy it. I came back to my computer and I had this huge warning as a desktop wallpaper. I can’t open any browser. I tried mbam it installed off a flash drive but it gets errors. I tried spy doctor and it also installed but won’t run. I tried going into msconfig but the setup2 wasn’t there to uncheck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. or my system is toast.
Thanks,
Lisa

I spent 3days working on a friends computer, trying to get rid of this stupid thing and I finally figured it out. If you google “how to remove winbluesoft” it will show several results. The only problem i found with most of these results was one importants step. I manually went into C: and deleted all the files that it shows expect one that I could not delete and that was the blocker.dll located in C:windows\system32. This seems to be the main program stopping everything else. So how to remove it you ask….
1:create a new folder on your desktop and name it anything you’d like
2:locate the file blocker.dll located in C:windows\system32
3:right click the file then rename it to whatever (my case i named it getridofthis1)
4:after renameing the file right click again and select cut
5:Open new folder(whatever you called it) and past the file there
6:now restart your computer
7: open the folder on your desktop and delete the file and restart again
note: I didnt have to edit the regestry just delete all other file first then save this one for last
