I love music and movies and like most music and movie buffs, I often copy audio and video files into my computer’s hard drive. The problem about ripping music and videos from a compact disk, however, is that these types of files are just too big and takes a lot of space when saved in the computer.
Solution to Large Video and Audio Files
Convert the files. Instead of deleting other older files in the computer’s hard drive to accommodate newer audio and video files into your computer, you can actually convert your files to make it “smaller”. What I do is use a video converter and an AVI Converter to convert the videos and music files that I have downloaded into a considerable size. Some DVD burning software like the Blaze Media Pro can convert DVD to AVI, MPG, WMV.
Save the files in a removable disk. Instead if saving large files in your computer, you can opt to saving them in a removable disk like a CD or DVD. You can actually use a CD burning software to save your files that you can retrieve for use later. Popular files that are saved on CDs are music, videos and photos.
