Yet another site on computer viruses and spam


The spammers who have been sending the CNN daily top ten email have not been satisfied in proliferating trojan files through spam messages. They are now utilizing blogspot blogs and even google ads to ensure the spread of their malware.

According to the site Malware Database, malicious links are being posted to the following blogspot posts. (Please do not click the links on any of these particular blogspot pages and sites). Basically, these sites contain the same content found on malware spams like CNN Alerts: My Custom Alert but these sites also encourage visitors to refer for more email addresses to subscribe to the CNN alert service hoax:

Spywareremove.com on the other hand, claims that some sponsored links from Google actually redirect people to sites that download the rogue anti-spyware program Antivirus XP 2008. The site urls to these malicious sponsored ads include 2008antivirusxp.com and antivirus-xp-2008.net. The google ads, as posted at spyremove.com may look like this:
