WordCamp Philippines 2008

Wordcamp (n. A conference for WordPress users and developers).

There will be a wordcamp in the Philippines this September 6, 2008. I was not able to attend the bloggers’ summit in Manila earlier this year but I am really looking forward to be at the Wordcamp. (Geez, this is one good excuse to meet my good old friends and classmates hehehhe). I also hope I will be able to make friends with fellow wordpress users so I will have more people to run to in case my plugins and themes won’t work hahahaha!

I am not sure though if there will be limited seats for the event because the organizers were searching for a venue good enough for only 100 to 150 bloggers. I think there are more than 200 wordpress users in the country. Nevertheless, I hope I can be counted in if there would be a quota.

The wordcamp will be held at the College of St. Benilde,Taft Ave., Manila. I hope I will still be able to buy cheap round trip Davao-Manila air fare for the September 6 event.
