Yet another site on computer viruses and spam

new google favicon Google has recently changed its big G favicon into a blue (or is it purple?) colored small letter g. The question is why. I searched on the web and found these probable answers:

Honestly, I believe google changed its favicon for no reason at all. The new favicon is stripping google with an iconic identity (I almost thought I was on a phising site when I first saw the new google icon while checking my adsense account). Maybe the people at google just got tired of the old favicon and changed it to something new. Most bloggers do that with their own site favicons too.
