my husband, joselito reyes cabral, had recently applied for a philippines passport. when his passport was delivered by the courier, i noticed that his civil status indicates that he is “single” when in fact, he is married. we had been married, however, in the united states. we came to the philippines as united states citizens but opted to apply for dual citizenship. i assume that when he applied for his philippines passport, he did not include a copy of our US marriage certificate nor indicate that he is married. is there anyway that our US marriage can be legally recognized by the philippine government or any of its agencies (NSO, DFA, or local municipalities) as proof that he is in fact married? would you be able to tell me the proper procedures as to how to go about notifying these different agencies. thank you for any suggestions you may have regarding my inquiry.

hello gusto ko po kumuha ng passport..meron na po ako NSO BIRTHCERTIFICATE,NBI CLERANCE..wla lng poakomga valid id like SSS,VOTERS,DRIVERS pero meron po ako mga supporting documents like OLD E1 FORM,form 137,BAPTISMAL and year book,,,pwede po ba ako kumuha ng passport?
