For only PhP 1,300 pesos, anyone qualified for a Philippines passport application can now apply for a new Philippine passport online. This online service allows Filipinos who have not been issued a Philippine passport to process their Philippine Passport for the first time. The new Philippine passport online application service is an improvement of an earlier service introduced by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) which only limits online passport processing to Philippine passport renewal.
How to apply for a new passport online:
1. Prepare all the necessary passport requirements. These include:
- Marriage Contract
- PRC / IBP ID
- Land Title
- Driver’s License
- Government Service Record
- Old SSS-E1 form or digitized SSS-ID
- School Form 137 or Transcript of Records
- Other documents that show full name and birth details of applicant and/or citizenship
- Voter’s Registration Record
- Baptismal Certificate
- Seaman’s Book
- Income Tax Return (Old)
2. Fill up a philippine passport application form. Take note of the pick up and personal appearance date. You may change this if it is in conflict with your schedule.
3. Pay PhP 1,300 when your requirements are picked up.
4. Go to the DFA on your appearance date. Instructions on what to do during your appearance are included in the latest passport online application form. Passport Direct customers use the priority lane so it will not be as difficult as when you line up and apply for your application directly at the DFA.
5. Wait for your passport to be delivered. Make sure to prepare identification documents as the courier may require this when delivering your passport.
Approval for passports applied online is not guaranteed as this still depends on the discretion of the DFA. Personal appearance is required except for the following:
children 8 years old and below
individual 65 years old and above
persons who are mentally or physically incapacitated
Personal appearance for applicants who processed their new Philippine passport online will only be accommodated at the DFA Manila. Individuals based in the Visayas and Mindanao must therefore seek for the help of travel agencies instead or they will pay more for their airfare during their personal appearance.

I do not know if ACCE travel and tours is accredited by the DFA but if it is located near the DFA office, it is likely that DFA will be able (hopefully) to monitor if it is a non accredited passport issuing travel agency.
1700 is already reasonable for an agency assisted passport pero as already mentioned in the comment by Rakel in this post: http://cantalktech.com/2008/01/16/philippine-online-passport-application/, 25 days is already the minimum processing time.
I am based in Davao and I notice that there are accredited travel agencies located in SM mall. Check them out in your area.

I want to ask about the renewal of passport for my kids.They have thier passport issued last year 2000 and unfortunately it was expired last 2005.I want to have it renew but my kids are still minors.I have read from your requirements that if the applicant is below 18,renewal of thier passport should be accompanied or personal appearance by either of parents.My problem is,both of us with my husband are working abroad.

I remember that the last time we went to the DFA, I noticed that they have this special unit that accommodates special cases. You might want to ask the DFA about it then ask help about your situation.

Yung may mga special concerns, I suggest you just bring all the documents that you think will be required by the DFA and better still contact the DFA directly.

Did you check the passport application form link? The service is provided by passport.com.ph. Please contact them to ask why they charge 1300.
Just a note to everyone applying for passport: agencies usually charge more than what the DFA charges. The reason is obvious: agencies are paid for their service.

I apply for passport renewal in San Pablo Travel and Tour in Laguna. The information given to me during my inquiry are the ff: Passport will be release in 11 working days and the fee is Php1,500 for expedite.When i’m about to get my passport they told me that it will take 15 days, which is obviously different on what they say during my inquiry, they even ask me to get a booking worth Php 500 for fast processing of my passport. I just want to ask if really how many days it will take before they release the passport. Is there any organization i can put my complain because in my opinion this agency is giving false information just to get the client. Thank you

i would like to apply on line because i just dont have the time to go to DFA. they said i need an affidavit saying that the “Maria” on my name is the same with “Ma.”, that’s how i write my name since kinder, but the one’s printed on my birth certificate is “Maria”. my husband, joselito reyes cabral, had recently applied for a philippines passport. when his passport was delivered by the courier, i noticed that his civil status indicates that he is “single” when in fact, he is married. we had been married, however, in the united states. we came to the philippines as united states citizens but opted to apply for dual citizenship. i assume that when he applied for his philippines passport, he did not include a copy of our US marriage certificate nor indicate that he is married. is there anyway that our US marriage can be legally recognized by the philippine government or any of its agencies (NSO, DFA, or local municipalities) as proof that he is in fact married? would you be able to tell me the proper procedures as to how to go about notifying these different agencies. thank you for any suggestions you may have regarding my inquiry.
