I was really pissed off today because of this Funny UST scandal AVI virus that keeps pestering me everytime I send messages via yahoo messenger. I was really shocked when I saw the cursor automatically buzzing my YM buddies and sending messages that say “tropen dis ganda nakakatawa”. Worse, my current status message even displayed this: “sino gusto funny ust scandal pm nio ko”.
I tried to delete all funny ust scandal icons in my PC. I even tried to uninstall my yahoo messenger and reinstalled it again but the Funny UST Scandal AVI Virus keeps coming back. Thankfully, I was able to download the Funny UST Scandal Avi.Exe Remover, a Funny UST Scandal Virus Removal Tool I have learned from techpinoy.blogspot.com.
If you want to remove that %$##@@@@!!!! Funny UST scandal virus in your PC, just
- download the Funny UST Scandal Avi.Exe Remover zip.
- Double click remover.exe and
- click on the “patayin ang tangahing virus button”.
This will automatically eliminate the Funny UST scandal AVI virus from your PC.

just install quick heal anti virus and scan ur system(all drives) and u will get the result

Nagkaroon din ako nyan funny ust scandal. Kya lng my ksmang killer.exe at smss.exe! PAg nagopen ka ng application like task manager, icoclose nya un, not totally closing kc nag rurun pa rin yung application kya lng minimize nya to extent to na di mo na maga2law. Smart ng virus kc icoclose nya lhat ng windows na pdeng mag alis s knya 2lad ng task manager, system32 folder.
Gnawa ko is nag install ako ng program na nagaayos ng registry (advance windows optimizer to be certain. My feature dun na nag coclose ng process sa task manager, kc hinde mo pdeng iclose ung process sa task manager kc treated sya as part ng system. Kya lng mablis kylngan kc icoclose un agad ng virus. Mala2man mo kung ano ang dpat iclose dun dhil sa my icon, common sense n lng! Natanggal ko na yung mga pesky process sa task manager, kya ndi na nagcloclose ng kusa yung mga windows. Tpos sinearch ko sa registry yung mga name nla, gumamit ako ng registry name seacher ksama n yun sa ininstall ko. Then I deleted them! Ayun nwala na cla. Dinelete ko rin yung mga file nila sa windows folder yung iba dun hidden!
Kya khit wla akong anti virus na nattngal ko! Actually di sya na dedetect ng ibang antivirus! Kya tinanggal ko sya manually!

hey, nod32 lang katapat nyan….. nod32 anti virus will do the rest, just install it, and all your virus will disappear..

hehehe, galing ng PINOY, i have my AVG free latest version, i received that file from my brother and got no problem with it using my free anti virus^_^

thanks rhodilee, as such i have used virus remover tool and nothing extra. smss.exe is still showing up in my task manager.

I suggest that you follow the virus removal tip in my post. I cannot attest for the funny ust scandal removal suggestions posted as comments in this site.

Hey All, thanks for the post. i could remove the virus within no time.
But, the process called SMSS.EXE seems to be still up in task manager. i am not sure if thats a part of virus or something else.

The above anti virus removal file is not removing anything
the bst way u can dellete the file by
1.goto command prompt
2.type “c:\windows\Funny UST Scandal.avi.exe\f\a
3.type “c:\windows\killer.exe\f\a
4type “c:\windows\autorun.exe\f\a
This virus damages the “ntldr.exe” -” network loader file”
and you cannot open the system on next system restarts
