At last, renewing and applying for a passport in the Philippines is now much easier. Passport application through the DFA Passport Appointment System by Internet is now available for Filipinos.Through this online passport application system, people who want to file passport applications can set an appointment with the DFA via the internet instead of waking up very early to be able to transact for their passport in the DFA offices or pay for more when availing the help of travel agencies.
The DFA Passport Appointment System is initially available for
- those whose passports have already expired;
- those whose passport will be expiring within the next one year; and
- senior citizens
The DFA appointment system will reportedly be available to all passport applicants in the future.
Passport applicants can apply for an appointment by sending a request to appointment@dfa.go.ph with the following details:
• Full name (first name, middle name and surname);
• Date of birth;
• Place of birth;
• Latest Passport Number and Date of Issuance
Passport applicants will then be sent a reference number and a confirmation which will include details of designated date and time for the filing of the passport application at the DFA-Passport Office.

tanong lang po…married na ako pero walang record sa census yung marriage namin…masyado magiging abala sa oras kung itrace ko pa yung judge o record ng judge since patay na cya…pagkuha ng passport pede ko bang gamitin yung maiden name ko…di ba ako mgkakaproblema don

I want to ask regarding renewal of my passport. I am already married but since I convert to muslim, is it possible to use already my maiden as in our religion it is not allowed for a muslim wormn to stay with a christian husband if he did not convert at all.
Is it possible to renew here online or need my appearance, what would be the requirements if i renew my passport and use my maiden name instead of my married name. And because i want to buy some property and would like to put it under my name and without any conjugal rights of my christian husband who has been with his other woman since our marriage.

I was married but separated for almost 10 years now and i personally dont know where he is since he left us when i was still 6 months pregnant with our second child and now that i have planes to go abroad can i now use my maiden name even if the documents that im using in my office is still my married name can you ans me in my email coz i am planning to get my passport by next week i want to know as soon as possible please thank you very much.

my son carlo had applied for passport last may 8,2009 ang the issuance will be om may 29.since we are in zambo.city.i requested the dfa in zamboanga to get the passport on may 21 in manila.because i need it as an entry in the st.luke to have my son shaun carlo aquino for physical exam.i have ubmitted a letter for urgency in my son”s application .can i really get the pasport on thiss day..pls helpon my request.muchas gracias and god speed.ma.carmelita m. aquino zamboanga city..c.p. number 09268887731

ang ginagamit ko pong surname sa passport ko ay yung surname ng dati kong asawa na americano.11 years na po na wala kaming communication at hindi po kami kahit kailan ngsama.gusto ko na pong palitan ang surname sa passport ko at gamitin ang pagkadalaga kong surname.sa pagkakalam ko po ay kapag 7 to 10 years na without any communication ay invalid na ang marriages namin.papaano mo ako makakakuha ng bagong passport with my own surname.paki send na lang po sa email ko ang kasagutan.tatanawin ko pong utang na loob kong ako poy iyong matutulungan

My two sons were born in Saudi Arabia.Their Philippine passports were issued by Philippine Consulate, Jeddah Saudi Arabia sometime in 1994 and 1997. Can they use the old passport to renew? If thats the case do I need to send them a Power of attorney letter for the person to process since they are under age? They are living with their guardian which is my mom. Thank you

Miss, i really need advice and help. I’ve been in DFA in tacloban 5 times…but until now i didn’t get passport. my problem is ! i don’t have 2 valid id. Miss what should i do? i really need passport until May because i can’t take exam if i don’t have passport. I study a german langauge here in cebu.. i try to applied passport in cebu, but i can’t because i am not live in cebu….
I can’t find a travel agency in baybay using internet….do you know one?
Everytime i put in my application form ” Destination” Germany” they always asked me what should i do there?
When i told them i will go there for fiancee visa…they have many Question and they asked me a documents that i don’t have.
I get Philhealth, and i went in commelect to registered. and they advice me to get voters affidavit…but i confuse it is a new registered. do you think it is valid and DFA will accept?
I planned to get Tin number….but i am student and some of my friend said i can get tin number if i am employed. do you think i can’t get Tin number because i am student?
