At last, renewing and applying for a passport in the Philippines is now much easier. Passport application through the DFA Passport Appointment System by Internet is now available for Filipinos.Through this online passport application system, people who want to file passport applications can set an appointment with the DFA via the internet instead of waking up very early to be able to transact for their passport in the DFA offices or pay for more when availing the help of travel agencies.
The DFA Passport Appointment System is initially available for
- those whose passports have already expired;
- those whose passport will be expiring within the next one year; and
- senior citizens
The DFA appointment system will reportedly be available to all passport applicants in the future.
Passport applicants can apply for an appointment by sending a request to appointment@dfa.go.ph with the following details:
• Full name (first name, middle name and surname);
• Date of birth;
• Place of birth;
• Latest Passport Number and Date of Issuance
Passport applicants will then be sent a reference number and a confirmation which will include details of designated date and time for the filing of the passport application at the DFA-Passport Office.

hi, next year po expire ng passport ko,pero nandito po ako sa germany, balak po kase namin magbakasyon ng asawa ko jan next year at pwede ko po bang ayusin jan ang pag rerenew ko ng passport.? may binigay po sa aking na site ang Embassy dito para sa pag rerenew ko pero masyado pong complicate kaya, asked ko lang po kung maayos ko rin agad jan, during 2 months ng bakasyon ko..thank you so much..

Would it be possible to use my single name sa passport ko even if my nbi clearance is in my married name na? if not would i possibly apply for 2nd nbi clearance as single? kasi mas madali maka apply ng work abroad as single eh. Thanks po for any info. Godbless

hi mam! dito po kami sa spain.. medyo confused lang po kami.. kasi, madami nagsasabi na kelngan daw pong i renew lahat ng passport kahit hindi pa expired.. para daw po mapalitan ng brown passport.. totoo po ba yun? thanks in advance..

I think DFA only processes your passport when you have already made a personal appearance so this means you cannot follow up your passport yet sa DFA kung hindi ka pa nakapag personal appearance. Follow up your agency. If they can’t give you a schedule yet, kunin mo na pera mo and look for other means to apply for a passport.

I wonder bakit ang tagal ka namang bigyan ng appearance schedule ng agency mo sa DFA. In my case kasi, I was given my schedule as soon as I sought the help of my agency. I think you better find a better agency, if they are already messing up with the schedule it’s not unlikely they will mess up in other passport related stuff too.

1. Personal Appearance
2. Duly-accomplished MRP application form.
3. Affidavit of Loss stating the circumstances of the passport’s loss
4. Police report if passport was lost due to robbery/theft or other similar incidents.
5. Three (3) identical passport sized picture (1.77”x1.37”) colored pictures with royal blue background
6. NSO authenticated Birth Certificate
7. Available photo identification Cards
8. applicable fees

I think 1800 passport processing fee is reasonable but I cannot vouch whether your agency is accredited by the DFA or not

Ask ko lang po kung dfa accredited agency po ba talaga ang GOLDEN FEATHER TRAVEL AND TOURS (2454 3/F SUMMERLIN BLDG., VALHALLA ST., PASAY CITY) ARMANDO S. PINEDA-PROP. Hiningan po kami ng 1,800 na fee. Tama po ba yon?

accidentally nawala po ung bag ko with all my belongings
include my passport. but i still have photo copy of my passport. ano po ba ung mga kailangan kong documents para makakuha uli ng passport. thanks….
