At last, renewing and applying for a passport in the Philippines is now much easier. Passport application through the DFA Passport Appointment System by Internet is now available for Filipinos.Through this online passport application system, people who want to file passport applications can set an appointment with the DFA via the internet instead of waking up very early to be able to transact for their passport in the DFA offices or pay for more when availing the help of travel agencies.
The DFA Passport Appointment System is initially available for
- those whose passports have already expired;
- those whose passport will be expiring within the next one year; and
- senior citizens
The DFA appointment system will reportedly be available to all passport applicants in the future.
Passport applicants can apply for an appointment by sending a request to appointment@dfa.go.ph with the following details:
• Full name (first name, middle name and surname);
• Date of birth;
• Place of birth;
• Latest Passport Number and Date of Issuance
Passport applicants will then be sent a reference number and a confirmation which will include details of designated date and time for the filing of the passport application at the DFA-Passport Office.

just ask a question. My passport has just renewed last year. Up to when is the validity of the OLD issued passport? Since now, the Philippines is using the MRP.

Ask klng po, me passport napo ako issued last Dec. 2007 pro single pa po ako nun, I’ve got married last Sept. 2008, kukuha pa po ba ako ng bagong passport na married nako or magpapachange status lang ako, pano po ba procedure at ano po mga kailangan. Need ko po ng info asap. Thanks

ask ko lng po,kc po ngtour kme ng parents ko senior citizen npo cla,dp hindi n nila kylangan mgpersonal appearance s DFa,ask ko lng ano po ang nided ko requirements or documents para s passport application nila,may mga dapat po b cla pirmahan?

question po, my sister will arrive here in the philippines on the 14th of January, unfortunately di po niya na check n expired na poa ng passport niya last dec 2009.is there any way po ba para makauwi po siya dto sa Pilipinas on the same date? or san po ba cia pede mag renew ng passport niya that can expedite the processing. thanks po

hello.. my passport old green one expired 2005 . I need to renew aSAP the passport since i have an emergency travel my february 2009.. How soon can i have the passport from date of file?
2nd question: my US visa not expired yet is pLACED on the old green passport, will my old passport be returned to me since US visa is placed on my old green passport? THANK YOU AND HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU.
