At last, renewing and applying for a passport in the Philippines is now much easier. Passport application through the DFA Passport Appointment System by Internet is now available for Filipinos.Through this online passport application system, people who want to file passport applications can set an appointment with the DFA via the internet instead of waking up very early to be able to transact for their passport in the DFA offices or pay for more when availing the help of travel agencies.
The DFA Passport Appointment System is initially available for
- those whose passports have already expired;
- those whose passport will be expiring within the next one year; and
- senior citizens
The DFA appointment system will reportedly be available to all passport applicants in the future.
Passport applicants can apply for an appointment by sending a request to appointment@dfa.go.ph with the following details:
• Full name (first name, middle name and surname);
• Date of birth;
• Place of birth;
• Latest Passport Number and Date of Issuance
Passport applicants will then be sent a reference number and a confirmation which will include details of designated date and time for the filing of the passport application at the DFA-Passport Office.

ang passport ko ay mag e expire sa 2011 pa ngunit nawala ito kasi nadukot ang bag ko..can i get a new one ..i know my passport number..what will i do maam?what document i will prepare to show it to the dfa? thanks i need your reply,,God bless

gusto ko sanang ask if pwede ba kong mag apply ng passport khit wala akong nbi clearance, pero may drivers license at postal id, and sss, pati birth cert. issued ng nso? malaking tulong po kung masasagot nyo ung katanungan ko. maraming salamat and god bless.

gud evening po tanung kolang po kung accredited po sila ng dfa “southern sky travel ang tours”, balak ko po kasi sa kanila nalang ako mag pa renew ng passport ko.paki email nalng po sakin ang sagut salamt po. god bless

Thanks so much for the infos you have provided. I just want to ask, If I renew my passport, will the Old passport number change? I have a ticket reserved Oct 25, My passport will expire next year. If i renew my passport on fri (Oct 10), Do you think I would be able to get my passport before I leave? Im really not confident on the 7 days processing that they posted on the website specially after reading some of the posts here that even took almost a month for a renewal.. Please advise. Much appreciated.
