Passport application through the DFA Passport Appointment System by Internet is now available for Filipinos.Through this online passport application system, people who want to file passport applications can set an appointment with the DFA via the internet instead of waking up very early to be able to transact for their passport in the DFA offices or pay for more when availing the help of travel agencies.

The DFA Passport Appointment System is initially available for

  1. those whose passports have already expired;
  2. those whose passport will be expiring within the next one year; and
  3. senior citizens

The DFA appointment system will reportedly be available to all passport applicants in the future.

Passport applicants can apply for an appointment by sending a request to appointment@dfa.go.ph with the following details:

• Full name (first name, middle name and surname);
• Date of birth;
• Place of birth;
• Latest Passport Number and Date of Issuance

Passport applicants will then be sent a reference number and a confirmation which will include details of designated date and time for the filing of the passport application at the DFA-Passport Office.
