I was reading all the above , and is hard to belive that everything is true. I hope there is true, and isf it is so it will be the best and the greatest gift ever I have been receivit, if no, I will be very disapointed. Most of the OFW parents are sending money to thier children in the Philippines for thier school allowances. The most common problem encountered by the young recipients (students specifically) is the requirement of at least 2 valid identification in order to claim the money. The issue is that most students have thier school ID only, they don’t have any government ID like TIN, SSS, GSIS, Drivers License,Residence Certificate (Cedula)or company ID since thy are are not employed.
Question?
1. Can Western Union make a policy of accepting a valid school ID or Certificate of Registration from the school they are attending?
2. Can Western Union create a database registry to recipients and provide Western Union ID (upon application with one time minimal charge of say 50 pesos)that can be used when receiving money?
